Given older MMOs like Star Wars: The Old Republic and Star Trek Online update entire lighting systems, I wonder why nobody adds hair physics.

Seems like that should be a fairly localized change to character rendering, no? Just something so braids and ponytails sit on the shoulders, and maybe floats a bit when you run. If it's not for performance reasons, could even do it for the entire costume.

I mean, both have cloaks with simple physics already, IIRC.
