Calling the diorama finished. I just need to leave it alone now. Don't mess with it, think of new things to add to it, add more drybrushing to the waves. And definitely. No. Seagulls.
This is going into the island Open Exhibition. I never thought of myself as an artist before, and it'll be sat alongside photographers, knitters, painters, and the like. Which is weird. But I feel pretty pleased. I learnt some stuff. I made some mistakes. I had fun.

Last weekend I finished painting #Warhammer Spearhead: Darkoath Raiders
They are a lovely set of models and mark the completion of my second Spearhead; an important milestone as it means I now have a loan army to teach people the game with.

I'm not much for the 'macho' pieces myself but it's what my brother wants for his birthday so take the theme and run with it I say. The tiger stripes were the only unplanned bit and yet I think it's my favorite detail.

I painted a couple more of my #3Dprinted #slime proxies for #talesfromthereddragoninn. These are the orange “gelatinous brutes”, pictured here with the smaller green slimes whose name I don't remember. I might make a video on painting some of this stuff in case folks are interested in my process.

I always intended to go back to this one and do a finishing pass or two before submitting to the competition on MMF, but the thought of doing so put me off _any hobbying at all_ for several days 😅. So I’m calling this guy done. This will be the hero shot. Also the first mini photo I’ve ever removed the ‘WIP’ tag from.
