I finally remembered to take a pic of my current painting projects. A power poison sword, based on Last Paint Drop, on my dragonborn barbarian, and a different color pallete than what I usually do, on my Chaos Dwarf.

No DuoLingo just #miniPainting today. I finished the #miniOfTheMonth one of those #Kharadron ones. A used a lot of stain mixed with gel acrylics and like that approach but feel a bit robbed to victory for dumb reasons #paintingWarHammer #aos

I finished my khornate cultist's base today.
I decided on a very fiery colour scheme and will use a very similar palette on him.

Mighty Imp from Ouroboros.

The challenge was four colours over white or black primer. The colours were bright orange, bright green, mid blue and bone. That's it.

Two and a half hours. Fun challenge. Sure it could be neater, but goal accomplished and onto the next project.

Thought you may enjoy seeing the palette post-painting as to the tones you can extract from those colours.

Yesterday I painted up the #Warhammer #MiniOfTheMonth Chaos Warrior. I don't usually do dirt and mud spatter but I needed to hide/distract from the metallic particles that got in from the paint water...
(This pot of Ral Partha metallic silver paint has maintained its consistency very well over the last 24 years. It also has excellent coverage and smells bad.)
