No. A morning spent on the North Sutor attending a @stduthac event lead by Allan Kilpatrick of @histenvscot The 1st and 2nd World War gun emplacements were brought to life by his enthusiasm and knowledge. Built on both Sutors to protect the deep water anchorage and refuelling facilities of the Cromarty Firth. Note the irregular shaped concrete roof slab to the gun emplacement roofs and rare surviving original painted camouflage. Wonderful. #militaryarchitecture #corbusier
