Congratulations to San Diego State University, who just came from 14 down in the second half to advance to the NCAA Men's National Championship in an absolute thriller ending over Florida Atlantic. Both teams advanced to their first Final Four this year. Final score was 72-71.
The second semifinal, in which U-Miami will face Connecticut, will start shortly. The winner of that game will face SDSU in Monday night's final.
Also worth noting that I didn't know until today: This will be the last year that Jim Nantz calls the NCAA Tourney for CBS. He'll continue to do other stuff for the network.

I swear, Iowa's Caitlin Clark was hitting them from NBA range. She is absolutely an electrifying player to watch, and as of tonight, the first player ever to have back-to-back 40-point games in tournament play (I'm not clear if that's just the women's tournament, or regardless of gender).
Oh yeah and Iowa will face LSU for the championship on Sunday, as Clark lifted her Hawkeyes 'mates over No. 1 South Carolina 77-73, spoiling their perfect season, if not ending a dynasty. LSU knocked off No 1-seeded Virginia Tech 79-72 in the other semifinal.
The Totally Freaky NCAA Men's Final Four With a Bunch of Teams Nobody Expected To Be There commences early Saturday evening. The first semifinal will be Florida Atlantic vs San Diego State; the second one pits U-Miami against U-Conn (the only school in the Men's Final Four that's been there before).
