In den 1920er / 30er hat Grover neben den bekannten Stimmmechaniken auch Pick Holder fürs #Banjo gebaut.
In Neu gibt's so was nicht und gebraucht nur aus USA, reverb ist da eine gute Quelle.
Ich habe das Original Design etwas abgeändert und aus Messing selbst einen gebaut.
Funktioniert wie gedacht. Vielleicht lasse ich das Teil noch vernickeln, da passts noch besser zum 1920er #slingerland #maybell Banjo

Nach vielen Stunden spielen, habe ich dem #slingerland #maybell #banjo jetzt noch einen neuen Sattel mit Zero-Fret (das ist der Bundstab direkt an dem weißen Sattel) eingebaut. Das verbessert nochmal die Saitenlage und den Klang der offen Saiten.

Alles repariert und einiges optimiert.
Vorerst bin ich zufrieden, jetzt wird viel gespielt und sicher finden sich noch Ecken die verbessert werden können.

Ich habe ein neues #banjo aus den 1920er Jahren. Aber vor dem Spass kommt die Arbeit.
Das Schöne an Banjos, im Gegensatz zu anderen Musikinstrumenten, man kann daran herum schrauben wie an einem Fahrrad.
