PatriziaToday I watched Mathilda the Musical, and it was just beautiful!
Tim Minchin's creativity and humour shines through in the songs, Emma Thompson is clearly having an amazing time chewing the scenery as the Trunchball, and Alisha Weir gives a stunning performance as Mathilda - the way she sings, grins, and tells the story of the acrobat is amazing.
It's heartwarming and fun without being twee and I cannot recommend it enough!
