Yesterday on #MaskUpMonday I was standing at the cash register putting my stuff back in my cart after the cashier had beeped it. The woman in line behind me comments to the woman behind her about my mask and the second woman said "Yeah, no, she's right to be wearing one. I have Long Covid and have now been in early retirement for 6 years."

And later at the drugstore there were two (2!) other people in FFP2 besides me and my kids.

Apparently it is the last day of the Lunar New Year celebrations, so Happy Lunar New Year to you!

In Germany stores close early on December 24th, are closed both on the 25th and 26th, are open on Saturday and then closed again on Sunday. So I thought I'd be smart and go to the supermarket today, hoping that all the madness would be happening on Tuesday and Wednesday. No such luck. People were desperate, harried, chaotic today. Oh well...
