Been restocking birds! I still have a few more to go, but I've been struggling with focus lately so I'm glad I was able to get these made and ready to go in the shop. I've also been working on getting my spring cleaning done. ...I know it's almost summer, haha, but it's something. Incremental progress!

Spent time this morning doing one of the more tedious tasks that still needs doing periodically: inventory! I hadn't been keeping close tabs on the things I don't sell on Etsy, so it was definitely overdue to get that up to date. Also made tags for all the things I've stitched up the last few weeks to get ready for my next bazaar on the 18th (held at St. Helens High School in St. Helens, OR). Completed bitty kitty for photo tax.

Their tails are clipped to their ears because I still need to sew them on, but I got these four bitty kitties stitched up today. 11 days to my next event, trying to get plenty of fresh inventory made before then! Lots of restocks like these kitties, and several new items, too. Fingers crossed for a successful event! And, well, if not, I'll be well stocked for the event after that, lol. :P

Turned out very cute, but goodness this fidget dragon was one of the most convoluted, poorly written patterns I've made yet... So much information, so poorly conveyed. Too much info in most places and too little in others made this a bit of a slog. I'll probably make more because I suspect it'll sell quickly, but I've already added notes and will likely make further edits to the second edition...

I enjoy the stitching in rounds, it's a chill repetitive action that doesn't require huge amounts of close attention. Doing all the little fiddly finishing bits? Nah, not my jam, lol. These axolotls have been sitting in the yarn basket awaiting their back ends being sewn up and their tail fringe added for over a week, so this morning's goal is to actually finish them so I can get product photos done and get them listed on Etsy.
