Another garden view from today- this is between the two buildings and in front of large spruce trees, so it's a spot where snow disappears quickly. Euonymus turkestanicus nana with not planted grass, next to apple trees.

New growth could be appearing in the next few weeks, depending on coming weather ( a few warm days coming, then more rain and snow...lol) but meantime last year's growth is still delivering in the Xeric/Native Beds (includes some near natives and exotics that fit the habitats) including a cute (very ephemeral) melt pool and a patch of #MarginalGarden #garden

A short #video- collecting some wild #Arnica #seed, and scattering it, along with some #RockGarden plant seed, in a #MarginalGarden area on the acreage.

This is a YouTube link, #Spectra #Peertube link to follow (slightly smaller file, plus it seems Spectra is now auto-generating transcriptions of the speech in videos, I haven't checked to see how it is!)

#AutumnColour with a bit of #sun and a good dose of #rain for #SixOnSaturday
One native plant -the Lysimachia - in an area of #MarginalGarden (in this case meaning a spot that was planted, mostly natives/near natives, then largely left to do its own thing), plus one non-native shrub left to its own (and the moose's!) devices -the Cornus-. The rest are #NativePlants wild on the acreage or just outside.
