@aardrian I had all the emotions today too. Anger was warranted but I went with sad and frustrated, ended with relief and even gratitude. Also with annoyance at how much time this ate up. No wonder I’m exhausted. On top of everything else In 2024 I shouldn’t have to be looking up cites to prove to anyone all male panels are wrong #manels 🙂

@TraciInFinland They definitely will not have noticed. And if they do notice, then they will approach a woman in that field and probably tell her (half joking) that they need a woman for #genderbalance of the panel, rather than asking her to join for her knowledge and expertise......speaking from personal experience here 🙄 #quotenfrau #manels #academicchatter We have a long way to go....

@brontegrimm I too could find #documentary stories around #racism #asylum #WomensEquality #WomensHistory #Ireland abroad didn't quite gel with 'panels' while waiting around for new funding arbiters & more receptivity could take years off me 😂. But I am a persistent #SheDevil and the end products always did really well with audience numbers, thus suggesting sometimes the #makers& #creatives are more anticipatory of #Zeitgeist than #Manels & #Panels. #Resubmit ❤️
