I was just looking again at the incredible inking done by @apolloniasaintclair and noticing how her style has changed over the years and yet she's always looked at the world with a delightfully askew vision.
She can draw impressively intricate artworks, but even her simple works move me with their composition and story telling. Her style sometimes reminds me of the erotic cartoons of Milo #Manara.
Every Apollonia Saintclair picture has a unique "ASC" number. I do not know if she actually has counted sequentially from 1, but she is well over a thousand now.
Here are three picture she drew over the years:
First, from this year (2023), ASC 1141, "La femme au fichu blanc" (Happiness blooms in my garden).
Second, from five years ago, ASC 789, "L'amant sans peine aucune" (Talented lover).
And third, from over ten years ago is ASC 28, "L'invitation".
