It's curious that this scary fireball isn't shooting straight toward him, it's on a looping spiral path. Somehow that makes it less scary? If I had to guess I'd say this was happening on an airship? Please read the story and report back.

There are a lot of staircases in these posters; I can't tie it to any kind of social change / sexual sub-current / societal malaise. If you've done a PhD on staircase imagery in movies please chime in, I'd like to read it.

Terrific colour scheme, all earthy greens, yellows and browns except for her clothes in peony pink to set it all off.
