Was my album of the year in 2024 & for so many reasons it’s hard to start where.
From production, to the perfect fit of feature guests, to the change up in the sound. It hit every mark for me

As someone who’s made & produced a load of music for decades, when I hear something so recognisable but incredibly elevated, it gets me excited to continue & repeat right after.
So it’s safe I was gonna enjoy everything else, & I was not disappointed

Luckily I get to work at great job at Vinyl Whistle & I get to work with different artists & listen to new releases.
So when it came up that Jimi Goodwin was going to play a DJ set for Record Store Day - I was happy!
A lovely person. Really lovely & was an utter pleasure to work with.
I had to get my vinyl signed & get a snap

We had this fawning moment when we spoke about Cannibal Ox’s - The Cold Vein, as I felt the album had the same type of production stylings & approach to hip-hop, plus Mala Leche has a feature from Vast Aire - speaking further on how it set the bar so much higher in hip-hop when it came out
