So many beautiful moments in this years Tour de France, not the least of which was Biniam Girmay's capture of the #MaillotVert, Mark Cavendish's 35 stage win, breaking Eddie Merckx' previous record, and a stunning performance by Tadej Pogachar to take the #MaillotJaune. Richard Carapaz took the #MaillotRougeÀPois and Remco Evenepoel taking the #MaillotBlanc. #TourDeFrance #cycling There is so much heart in professional cycling, and the TdF is it's peak.

It is not a particularly timely question, but what on Earth has happened to the maillot vert? It looks more like a team jersey than a leader’s jersey. It certainly doesn’t stand out in the peloton.
