If you look closely, you can see the yellow dirt trail that leads up from the beach and over this rocky, tree-covered headland (center-right frame). I haven't been up that trail—yet. I will.

Lilo's face and paws have a yellow tinge to them because we got down to the beach by way of that yellow dirt cliff behind her. She looks jazzed because (a) we were at the beach, and (b) we had just passed the remains of some large marine mammal. (I'm thinking a small whale, but what remained wasn't enough for me to be sure.) Lilo, being a dog, was very happy about all the fun new smells 💩
