Shawn "Fruan" PoulsenI just ran into someone running what looked like a pretty stock version of Standard's 5c Ramp deck in Explorer. And it kept up pretty well. I'm amazed.
Tap & Roll GamesJust a heads-up: It looks like the norm for format-specific hashtags on Masto is becoming #MTGformat, such as #MTGPauper. Seems to be more activity there. I suspect the same will hold for #MTGPioneer, #MTGExplorer, #MTGGladiator, etc....
I'm quite enjoying Explorer on #mtga at the moment. Adding Nyktyhos turned out to not push mono-green too far ahead, and the format feels fairly diverse and fair.
However, looking at decks in Pioneer that are missing from Explorer... most are close, missing maybe one or two cards to enable the archetype. Except UR Phoenix, which is missing practically the whole deck. Huh? Who's idea was this? This seems like a terrible plan!
