Attendance at this year's #Missouri State Fair (#MSF121 ) grew over two percent from last year to almost 350,000. It's the highest attendance figure reported in five years for the 11-day showcase of the state's #agriculture industry.

History was made in the State Fair Coliseum this afternoon once a Lincoln County #steer was selected as Grand Champion at the 121st #Missouri State Fair. When Ryleigh Witt won the top prize with her 1410-pound crossbred, it confirmed that for the first time in at least a decade, a steer from the purebred divisions would appear in Saturday's Sale of Champions. #MSF121

Rain this morning in #Sedalia has resulted in the postponement of today's #Missouri State Fair Shoot Out Truck & Tractor Pull. As a result, both pulling events at #MSF121 will take place Monday, with the shoot out from 10a and the Pro Pulling League running as scheduled from 6p.

A first-time participant in the market #barrow competition picked up Grand Champion honors at the 121st #Missouri State Fair (#MSF121 ). Renee Conklin of #Hallsville showed the 277-pound light crossbred, after having shown gilts the past four years and horses before that.

Four different contestants at this year's #Missouri State Fair Queen Contest won the individual categories, but it was Miss Northeast #FFA Kelsey Miller who prevailed to win the crown. She'll represent the fair for the next year as queen and receive a $2000 scholarship. #MSF121
