I was able to reconnect with #hams from #maryland and people I met at #hamsci, #cedar, #hamvention and #gnuradio conferences. Some folx I haven't seen since the #pandemic! It was good to be out and about. Everyone was cool but no one who was still working wanted their photos shared on #socialmedia because they were concerned about security issues and fear of a #facist planet. Lot's of #hams in the group are from the #DMV so they are former or current #government & #military #contractors. Needless to say I overheard alot of discontent about their jobs or former jobs--all in low voices proceeded by cut-eye glances over shoulders.
