Some supplies have arrived for a new commission. I’ll be building the #Odyssey class USS #Enterprise NCC-1701-F. Just waiting on filament to arrive then I can start printing. #StarTrek #3DPrinting #ScaleModels #MKMModelwerx

As I’m doing the lighting myself on this, I designed and printed LED holders to fit inside the motor cradle of each nacelle. They will hold 4 3mm LEDs. There is a hole in the middle to allow a motor to spin the internal Bussard part. #StarTrek #StrangeNewWorlds #USSEnterprise #ScaleModels #MKMModelwerx

So it begins. I’ve drilled out holes in the deflector housing, glued a piece of clear styrene behind, then glued the central part back in place. #StarTrek #StrangeNewWorlds #USSEnterprise #ScaleModels #MKMModelwerx
