Украинские военные пилоты проходят подготовку в United Kingdom, где их обучают как будущих инструкторов вертолётной авиации. Об этом сообщает портал Militarnyi.

После возвращения в Ukraine они смогут сами готовить новые поколения военных лётчиков. Таким образом Лондон помогает сформировать собственную систему подготовки авиационных кадров, менее зависимую от зарубежных партнёров.

Это первый подобный проект в рамках военного сотрудничества между Украиной и Великобританией. Тип вертолётов, на которых проходит обучение, официально не раскрывается. Однако ранее сообщалось, что Британия планирует передать Украине транспортные вертолёты Westland Puma HC.2.
