#Megan2Point0 feels like a proper sequel.
The first #movie was like a Terminator from TEMU.

This new one has now a compelling story and a better budget (the first one gave me some indie vibes).

Please watch it, it’s completely worth it!

I really enjoyed M3GAN. A grounded and expertly eerie thriller that used its scifi premise rather than getting lost in it.

I'm half way through M3GAN 2.0, and I'm a bit disappointed. The plot leans heavily into magical AI tropes, and action movie cliches, and the half-time exposition dump took me right out of the story. Particularly because of the 'motherboard locked in a box gets smarter over time' nonsense.

If I saw it at the cinema, I'd be tempted to walk.

I watched M3GAN 2.0 today and thought it was a rather enjoyable movie. It got a little campy, and I do think they tried to weave a bit too much into it, but it was interesting to see references to cultural events and subtle and not so subtle nods to past AIs
