Last performance of Natyloka School of Indian Dance in Ōtepoti tonight. The house is full of families come to see their loved ones perform and the dance community.
Swaroopa has done so inexpressibly much for dance here which has also rippled through the South Asian community but she's leaving to go where there are more opportunities for her work.
Don't let anyone persuade you the arts have enough funding or that they should just be more businesslike.
