@haiku_brian Glad you like it. I heard about it on Mastodon too, when @CowboyWho recommended it. In the context of a solarpunk, hopepunk story where an AI who wants to be a real boy is the main character, it seems fitting that it seems to be a human word-of-mouth hit.

Just finished the latest episode of @lostterminal - 18.2, and I'm loving the addition to the worldbuilding of the bio-mechanical wildlife!! I really should've seen this coming with Maddy's transformation into the EQUUS body, and, now that I've read some summaries, also last season had some hints of bio-mechanical creatures too — maybe it's about time I should give the whole show a re-listen... But anyway, the addition feels very natural given the technological state from time before The Collapse; of course robots that already take design principles from the animal world around us, and are deployed with self-preserving AI control systems would "evolve" to fit their environments even more, modifying themselves or each other to do so.
