Deep into a reread of the #AState #ttrpg in preparation for #LongCon in a fortnight. What a beautifully written and illustrated book this is, perfectly matching the setting.
A|State is a favourite of mine and I’m excited to get a chance to run a short campaign of it with friends.
It’s also the first #fitd game I’ve played that made position and effect (risk and reward) easy to understand from the perspective of a GM.
AI is a long con, just another scam by the data-stalking industry to spy and gather intel on people in an aim to exploit our weaknesses and vulnerabilities. It's not really "tech" in Tech anymore. It's all about us the users/victims and how the captains of the data-stalking industry can part us from our hard earned real world money. They believe we are all stupid.

After learning about #Longcon here on Mastodon last year, this year I'm planning to attend and run a #DCCRPG game.
One for UK #ttrpg players...
Longcon 2026 will be held at the Garrison Hotel in Sheffield the weekend of 27/28 June.
#Longcon offers a unique experience compared to other conventions in that you can play a single mini-campaign over the weekend. We've 8 fantastic games offered and you can find out more at the link below.

Excited about this one. I’ve offered a weekend in Mire End, using the A|state #ttrpg’s recent #fitd edition. A weekend of the same game is very different as a convention.
The seven games at #Longcon (#Sheffield, UK, 27-28 June 2026) have just been listed. Loncon is a long-format #TTRPG convention where you play one long game over the weekend.
