@icanbob To an extent you can. You can run your heat pump when it’s sunny, and use your house to buffer cold or heat (depending on the season). You can charge your car when power prices are low. And especially with power hungry industries, #loadShifting is a key factor in a zero carbon economy. Here, we pump the water to keep our polders dry predominantly when clean power is abundant. Similarly, we light our greenhouses smartly.
