@keribla @adamdavidson @jayrosen_nyu On this specifically, have you tried checking out the #lexodus?
Kind of torn between using my larger instance acc to follow/join #lexodus, and just following most of the folks here but not sharing much about it for the server's sake. Decisions, decisions....

loooong day of work not over yet but have made it through to approving a few more new community members - welcome #mastodaoine!

I'm trying to think about anyone/instance I might enjoy finding in the #fediverse, if people have recs?

Primarily interested in #law #lexodus folks, #gaeilge, #music #producer, #artistsonmastodon, some #psychiatry / #medtwitter,and interesting facts-type accs.

25/ Now, there are a few exceptions to that.

For instance, the #lexodus has involved a small, pretty tight-nit UK legal commentary community moving from one platform to another. That community has a lot of widely listened to influential voices, and so those people can and are helping to acculturate their community to the norms of mastodon.

But that's very much the exception. Most newcomers are solo arrivals, not part of a specific and coherent community migration.

Here’s a question for admins and experts: how on here do I bookmark useful toots? #Lexodus #Twexit
I think #Lexodus is slowing down ( I turned off the pings at peak !). Which backs my anecdata that it's abt 10% of followers who are making way over, fewer for bigger accounts. Fine with me. Curious abt other research on the active Vs passive percent of any social network.
Anyone else finding this?
So phase 2 of #Lexodus (ta @[email protected]) is that Masto feels like its for fun and Twitter feels like its for work - and indeed at the weekend it felt like all the action was on M and Twitter was tumbleweed, today slightly less unbalanced. fa-sci-na-ting.
#introduction. Hi everyone. I’m a barrister, farmer and bee keeper living in #cumbria in the UK but practising across the country. I’ve joined the #lexodus from Twitter.
