Never got my download from #reddit, so I ran #PowerDeleteSuite to shred and delete everything on my account.
Will be deleting my account Jun 30.

<p>No matter who we are, this site is against us.</p> <p><strong>If you're left-wing:</strong> Reddit's CEO Steve Huffman is lying. Reddit does not care about hate, racism or violence! The site is using you fools as excuse to remove content, but hate is allowed in Reddit as long as profitable. If you belong to any minority, you are not safe here, you will get doxxed.</p> <p><strong>If you're right-wing:</strong> the Anti-Evil Operations use an ambiguous content policy as excuse to arbitrarily remove you, when they deem you as unprofitable. They don't care about "open and honest discussions", they care only about leaving advertisers and investors pleased. The admins outright mock free speech, no matter if protected as such or enabling hate!</p> <p><strong>If you're a moderator of a large sub:</strong> you won't get clear and consistent content rules or mod guidelines. The admins need the ambiguity for arbitrary enforcement. And you won't stop being harassed and brigaded because Reddit Inc. sees you as suckers doing their work for free. And you won't get good subreddit personalization in the new interface either due to "brand awareness".</p> <p><strong>If you're a moderator of a small sub:</strong> Reddit doesn't care about your niche interest. Ad targetting makes huge subreddits more profitable, so the structure of the site will be always against you and your community. And your sub might be randomly banned because some brigade triggered a stupid algorithm against ban evasion.</p> <p><strong>If you're a plain user who wants cute pictures:</strong> Reddit users will keep bugging you over and over so you pick a side in the fight. Arbitrary moderators will keep randomly removing your cat pics because of some obnoxious hidden rule. Reddit will do nothing if you're harassed, the userbase is petty and circlejerky.</p> <p>It's time to leave Reddit. There are plenty alternatives out there: Ruqqus, Notabug, Voat, Raddle, just to name a few. If you're into nicher interests give some local forums a look. Organize yourselves and your communities elsewhere. Or even create your own.</p> <p>Do it and you won't regret it.</p>
