The #reddit posts I deleted on June 16th via #PowerDeleteSuite have been magically restored.

I'm gobsmacked and insulted. It's *my* content. The audacity to restore it so Reddit can squeeze sweet ad revenue out of it is insane... I'm never visiting that place again.

Hehe bye bye Reddit, powerdeletesuite works a charm. I was hoping they'd change their stance, but alas profit over accessibility and users. I loved the boost app and feel bad for all the developers who put work into adding features Reddit couldn't be bothered with.

Nobody cares, but I think it's important to put one's money where their mouth is! :)

Currently running PowerDelete Suite on my reddit account, erasing over a decade's worth of contributions. Sad to see it go, but grateful for kbin!

Went to go delete my #reddit account, and of course several of my posts were restored. Running #PowerDeleteSuite again before I whack the bugger.

Update: my six year old #Reddit account is now dead.

Never got my download from #reddit, so I ran #PowerDeleteSuite to shred and delete everything on my account.

Will be deleting my account Jun 30.

Edit: diction/clarification

In protest of recent changes to #Reddit's API terms, some of the site's users ran apps like #PowerDeleteSuite to overwrite or delete their entire Reddit comment and post history.

This morning, multiple users across the Fediverse are claiming that Reddit has quietly restored their overwritten/deleted posts.

Some claim this unrequested & undesired restoration of history seems limited to accounts who used PDS. Others speculate this could be a server-rollback issue.
