My personal website https://hofstede.it is officially in the 1MB club:

https://1mb.club/ (Currently No. 808)

The entire website (including assets, images, fonts, css, js etc) is less than 1MB of size.

With 956.9KB, I am just barely under the threshold, but it's under 1MB 🙂

😬 Going from lean to bloated:
A client site I built got relaunched by an investor’s preferred agency. They replaced my custom Gutenberg blocks with Beaver Builder. Lighthouse score dropped from 100 to 72, and the homepage now loads 12MB of resources. Progress?

Flatlake | Flatlake — A static API generator

Flatlake is a static API generator. The goal of Flatlake is to expose a headless CMS interface over a set of static git-based files. Flatlake has the primary goals: Ease migrations from a headless CMS to git-based content management, as existing frontends can maintain their architecture.

@halva @cassidy Perhaps some engineer at google (who values the open web) will update the default setting in chrome dev tools to throttle connections to 3G speeds. *That* would have quite an impact.

So is CSS-Tricks.com dead? No new post in nearly two weeks when they normally post daily. Is there any really good CSS-centered blogs I should subscribe to?
