The launcher #Lawnchair on #Android is kinda nice. But nowhere in the app or their FAQ is explained what the permissions are used for. 🧐

I finally got off my lazy ass and deleted Nova Launcher off of my phone now that they added Facebook trackers to it. ​ I know I should've done it way sooner but I've used Nova for like a decade so it was hard to say goodbye.

I switched to Lawnchair and it's been pretty nice. ​ I miss being able to have my default screen be in the middle instead of all the way to the left, but I got Neo Feed working so now if I swipe to the left at least something is there.

As with many of you, I've been using Nova on #android for a long time, and was dismayed to see that its new owners have added ads to the launcher. It seems that Lawnchair is a popular place for Nova refugees to land, so I'm giving that a try. Didn't take more than about 5 minutes to get the basic home screen comfortable for me, so that's a good sign. We'll see how it goes.

Hilo probando launchers

Ayer me instalé una última nightly de #Lawnchair aver como va, sigue igual de bug xD

Los nombres personalizados no se mantienen, no aparecen las apps en el cajon si no se reinicia el launcher, la letra no se cambia de tamaño, etc.

Estoy que uso otro launcher hasta que sea estable, pero es el único que puede apagar la pantalla con el doble toque (root)

Conclusión: Usando Kvaesitso un tiempo...
