A group of 10 Ottawa lawyers sent a police complaint AGAINST ANOTHER LAWYER, rather than block her on Twitter or LinkedIn, resulting in this video.

Also, I feel like it's easier to get the cops to go harass someone in a different jurisdiction than in their own.

I can't believe the reason the media said is accurate and I wanna see for myself.

If I ran a salon (because lets use stereotypes) can I now refuse service to religious folks?

Cutting hair is my expression, and the law says you can't force me to violate my beliefs & cut a bigoted assholes hair.

Or am I in trouble because its illegal to discriminate on that protect class of religious belief, that can be changed at whim or if the mega church has a water slide?

In my mind if its the latter my protection is not equal.

Just bought my first booth ever for my law firm at a convention... I keep telling myself I only need 1 lit client or 2-3 transactional clients from the event for this to pay for itself, but, damn, this is more than I spent on all marketing last year and I still need to rent booth furnishings, get event insurance, and buy decorations and swag.
