I went to drop off my bike and wheels for tune-up and wheel replacement at Landry's Braintree. The service department is so backed up (it's spring time) that I couldn't get my bike back until memorial Day. So they put me in to drop off the bike again on the 22nd so I can ride before then, but I left the new wheelset with them. I probably should've called them beforehand .....
Landry's, Inc., owned by Houston billionaire Tilman Fertitta, lost a legal challenge this week against Landry Distillery. Landry's had claimed the Austin-based distillery was infringing on its trademarked name.

The 122-year-old dreadnought, which is the United States’ last remaining battleship to be used in both World War I and World War II, has been undergoing repairs at Gulf Copper shipyard in Galveston since August 2022. On Tuesday morning it will be lowered into the water and moved to a nearby slip for the next phase of its $75 million restoration, which is expected to last between 18-24 months.
A San Antonio-area grandmother who sued Landry's Inc. after breaking her ankle at Houston's Downtown Aquarium in 2018 recently was awarded nearly $3 million by a jury. Landry's called the amount "excessive."
