Ambition: clean results, sharp table, publishable conclusions.

Reality: 5 liquids, 3 plates, 0 consistency & lab smells like hot vinegar.

Conclusion: If a liquid surprises you, maybe you’re on the right track.

Dangit. I'm doing molecular biology for the first time in a long time, and just did the last of maybe 8 DNA clean-ups and realized the bottle I thought was binding buffer PB was actually lysis buffer for minipreps P2.

DNA concentrations look ok so I did the transformations anyway.

I really need to wear my glasses in lab consistently.
