I've discovered that in many cases, you can revive ViFly Finders by directly connecting the battery to a 1S Lipo (3.7V) or a charger for about 8 to 10 seconds. The reason is deep discharge, where the threshold can only be overcome with a more aggressive method. Normal charging won't help. #fpv #freestyle #lipo #battery

@SheDrivesMobility @ncws Nor dass nen #Handy (und Hose) einfacher los wird! Ich selbst verlange deshalb werkzeugfrei tauschbare Akkus in all meinen Geräten!!

Ich rechne jedenfalls erst mit billigen #Methanol-#Brennstoffzellen und günstigen Fahrzeugen für nen Durchbruch!

#LiFePO4 are not exothermic escalatibg unlike #LiCo / #LiIon / #LiPo cells.

  • Also unlike #SulphuricAcid & #Lead they ain't bount to orientation nor gas out #hydrogen and have a higher energy density per volume and weight with longer endurance (tge lower they get discharged)

Aside from doing some minor code cleanup and bugfixing on a personal project today, I also found the time to test my new 850 mAh S2 LiPo with the two-motor powered BR 101 locomotive.

The first two waggons (the long ones) are quite heavy but the two motors pull the train at an acceptable max. speed.

The LiPo and the LiPo "beeper" (battery charge monitor) nicely fit into the 6W loco as well.
