Needed something lighter after the previous book, so I’ve picked up What Is Queer Food?: How We Served a Revolution by John Birdsall, and that was just the best choice. This might have been an oddest read of the year. Make Sure You Die Screaming by Zee Carlstrom is a beautifully paced piece on burnout, fatigue, and just how wildly weird life can be.
