Following yesterday's attack by #Ukrainian drones, four workshops producing drones at the #Kupol plant in #Russian #Izhevsk were damaged, #Russian media reports. The plant has suspended work.
According to reports, the attack damaged workshops in the plant's Building 1, where metalworking and microchip soldering take place and where finished drones are produced.
The plant's manufacturing site had been operating around the clock in three shifts.

By preliminary information, the #Russian #Kupol electromechanical plant was attacked - one of the largest enterprises in the #Russian defence industry. It produces the #Tor_M2E air defence missile system and the #Harpia_A1 attack drones.

#Russia has begun the production of a new long-range kamikaze drone, the “#Harpy_A1,” according to #Reuters.
Production started last year at the #Izhevsk “#Kupol” plant, with 2,500 units of the drone manufactured so far.
Notably, this new #Russian development includes a #Chinese engine and components. The drone has a range of up to 1,500 km and has already been used against military and civilian targets in #Ukraine, including critical infrastructure.
