Swami #Krishnananda, a contemporary Indian #philosopher, summarized the essence of #Hinduism as follows: Nature has a purpose. In the West, we see only matter in it. We even limit #consciousness to matter – an intellectual stubbornness. Matter itself cannot have any purpose. I do not want to argue about it. My observation is just this: Even the materialists among us must realize that our #materialistic dogma is now leading us towards self-destruction. Is not a rethink necessary here?
