It could be full time job mending the holes Kona chews into fabrics. It's a good thing she's so sweet!
This required a patch on the inside, so it wouldn't catch on things being shoved into the pocket, and one on the outside, where it wouldn't be ugly.

Kona has done it again. She grabbed my gray fuzzy before I could hang it up and chewed two holes in before I could grab it back from her. (She's fast!) Used a chain stitch in a spiral with hemp yarn to fill the void. One down, one to go!

I'm working on doing something about the frayed cuffs on a favorite hoodie. I left to get a cup of tea. In just a few minutes, Kona (a cat) chewed 5 holes in it. Five!!! I managed to rescue the fabric for one of them, but the rest have to be patched. Cuff mending is on hold.

Kona says: The white stuff is better than the green. Excellent mouth feel. 10/10 would chew again.

One of my cats (oh, I know which one) chewed a hole in my comfy madras pants. They have large cargo-style pockets on the thighs, and I just realized I can cut out fabric behind the pockets to use as a patch, and then replace it with something else because it's hidden. And I might just make it a little longer on the inside so my phone fits better. #sewing #cats #KonaHoles
Look at this sweet kitty. She would never do anything wrong. But she does like to steal our clothing and chew on it. She can make a 2 inch hole in under 5 seconds. We've tried just letting her have a few pieces so she won't feel she has to go hunting for more. Exhibit A: there are more holes than wool in what used to be a lovely scarf.
