A new version of 3-Finger-Gloves inspired by #Knitty's "Really Useful Gloves" with their "turtleneck" fingers. I use them mainly when I'm cycling and use the smartphone outside and am testing them till I don't need gloves anymore this spring.

Finished something a few weeks ago. And as always: no good pictures of me wearing the thing exist.
It's a knit shirt, based on the pattern "Green Machine" from an older #knitty issue. The yarn is Coast from Holst Yarn. I've made it a bit longer with mostly a longer lace portion to wear it as a normal shirt, not an additional layer.
At a gauge of 26 sts/10 cm it really is #slowfashion
Pattern is taking shape. The yarn is Manos Del Uruguay Marina in the colour way Frozen. knitty.com has just announced a feature that precisely fulfills one of my wished-for knitting user stories!

Writing a user story is relatively easy. Making it happen is a whole lot more effort. It’s a Patron-only feature, and I was thinking I should maybe possibly become a Patron sometime soon since I’ve been using Knitty’s free patterns since 2005 and I’d like them to stay online. Now I definitely will because I want this feature!
Knitting patterns are written like minified code. People don't normally read code when it's minified, but we knitters have to follow these compact patterns. While stitch counters and stitch markers help keep count of repetitions, that's not enough. I'm not sure what other people do, but I tend to print my patterns and scrawl notes all over them.
There's a new issue of #Knitty and Franklin has a new pattern! Imagine a dainty doily and now super size it, so it's a blanket! Voila, you have the megadahlia and it's gorgeous!
Because, let's face it, you can never have too many doily...blankets!!!

Uh... while searching for worsted weight yarn in the stash, I found this project that I bound off, wove in the ends . but never blocked or wore. CABLES AND BOBBLES! I sweated every one of those stitches and was in a heated game of Yarn Chicken right to the end... and just.. forgot about it?
