One more circus post and then I'll go back to glass ... for a bit. In October, the Spire troupe and Oakland Prescott Circus Theatre came together for a weekend to share and create a collaborative show in two days. They had some acts already formed, but also created some combined acts. It was really neat to see the creative process and the sharing of space and ideas. It's another thing that I hope Kinetic Arts continues to do more of.

More #circus pictures from the past year - April/May saw the performances of the younger kids troupe. Their show was about exploring a cave and the scary creatures they found there. Getting good pictures of the younger ones can be hard as they haven't really learned how to hold a pose in their acts, but it's neat to see them and watch them grow into their circus bodies - several of them graduated to the Spire troupe this year.

One of my obsessions is circus photography, and I usually like to look back at the year and remember the shows I shot. This is the first year I've been able to do that since the before times. So here are some of by best pictures from Circus Forte, the Kinetic Arts Spire show last March, the first show we had since the pandemic shut us down two years before.
