End of the Year Drama Challenge Day 5: a visually beautiful 2025 Drama

This was a hard choice for me as I didn't watch a ton of dramas from 2025. Some gorgeous ones from 2024, though.

So I decided this 2025 movie must count. It uses a lot of the same locations as it's prequel #KillBokSoon that are just eye-catching and well-framed.

Started watching #Mantis for movie night, then realised it was a spinoff of #KillBoksoon which is on my watchlist but we hadn't gotten to it. So now we are watching that and #Mantis will get restarted next week.

#ImSiWan will have to wait.

I decided to watch the #kdrama movie #Mantis and it looks like it is in the same universe as #KillBokSoon which I thoroughly enjoyed: about contract killer companies and certain assassins with skill and style. And humor.

This one stars #YimSiwan who usually plays the quiet type - sometimes benign, sometimes serial killer, always a bit odd. Just in the first 6 minutes he is very animated.

*settles in eagerly for the show*

The two roles are so different yet similar. She's got RANGE.
