This past weekend Kenmore Camera had their Digital Expo. My friend, fellow photographer, and Sigma Ambassador Heather Larkin came to town for the event to do a macro presentation and photo walk. It's always a pleasure to attend her classes and workshops, and I can't recommend them enough. The photo walk was also going to be at the Bellevue Botanical Garden, which requires absolutely zero convincing for me to visit. :P

We'd gotten rain the night before, so there were plenty of drops everywhere, adding visual interest. It was a few hours *very* well spent, and good fodder for Macro Monday!

I am happy to announce that this photo was accepted into the Kenmore Art Show!

The show is this weekend: Friday, August 16th through Sunday, August 18th, at Kenmore Camera.  If you'd like to find out what this is an abstract photo *of*, I'll be attending the awards ceremony & artist reception on Friday, from 5:30 - 6:30 PM, and you can ask me there.  :)  Stop on by and see this piece in person, as well as the work of 50+ other talented artists.
