I am happy to say that my submission to the Kenmore Art Show was accepted, and the photo here will be on display next to some other fantastic pieces!

You may recognize this image from a post I made earlier in the year. When the call for art went out for the show, and I saw that the theme was "Joy", this shot immediately came to mind. Followed very closely by the other one in this post, for obvious reasons. I was sorely tempted to submit them both. :D

I am happy to announce that this photo was accepted into the Kenmore Art Show!

The show is this weekend: Friday, August 16th through Sunday, August 18th, at Kenmore Camera.  If you'd like to find out what this is an abstract photo *of*, I'll be attending the awards ceremony & artist reception on Friday, from 5:30 - 6:30 PM, and you can ask me there.  :)  Stop on by and see this piece in person, as well as the work of 50+ other talented artists.

All of the art at the show is for sale, and a portion of each sale goes towards supporting Arts of Kenmore's youth programs.

For anyone in the #Worcester area, I will be showing two piece as a part of this exhibit starting June 6th! Really excited about this one; my wife and our friend Amy also had pieces accepted, and I am looking forward to the opening reception.
