Kent have been thrashed into the dust by Glamorgan. In response to the Welsh county's 549-9 declared (Kellaway 181 not out) Kent have succumbed for 212 and 176 to lose by an innings and 161 runs. Kellaway, also a bowler of both off spin and left arm orthodox spin picked up a couple of cheap wickets in the second Kent innings, to go with his big score.

Kent are showing what can happen to a side after a long stint in the field - Glamorgan declared at 549-9, Kellaway 181 not out and Kent are currently 23-5 in reply. Surrey will have been in the field even longer when Warwickshire finally call a halt to the slaughter.
