Imagine having the institutional power to be like, "okay city/county, you will run your bus route through our campus in a loop"? #Seattle #KCMetro
How much snow do you think we will get in #KC ?

I’m not even touching on all the fun stuff we did at various stops along the way! A full day. And I treasure my #KCMetro and #SoundTransit swag. 😁

We got on and off the G Line a few more times. We happened across a block party celebrating the G Line RapidRide expansion with live music and doughnuts and swag. So much swag! I got a Boop the Orca tchotchke. Another party member donated to the Transit Riders Union and got a sweet tee shirt.

From there, Andrew led us to the first G Line RapidRide stop, which I want to say is on 1st Avenue? We rode it to the downtown branch of the #Seattle public library, one of my very favorite buildings. We wandered the library a little before catching the G Line again for further adventures.

“Epic” got tossed around indiscriminately for so long I fear it’s lost all meaning, but I can think of no better word to describe today’s #Seattle adventure, instigated by my most indefatigable transit maniac friend Andrew. He gathered a group of like-minded enthusiasts to celebrate the opening of King County Metro’s #RapidRide G Line, and it ruled.

The one thing I would do differently with this "bus stop closure" sign is to have it face the people who are approaching the bus stop

@lmc that’s great! I wish we had that in the Seattle area. At $2.75 for 2 hours on #kcmetro buses, more on other services, daily cost is a deterrent for me to ride as much as I sometimes would like.

Woohoo! The temperature here in the #KCmetro has climbed all the way to -2!

That may not seem cold to many of you but 20 is considered "very cold" here, so that's "very, VERY, cold."

When I lived in #CedarRapids, #Iowa years ago, I learned to be happy if the temperature was above zero. The coldest day I experienced there was -24. And I think it got close to that here yesterday.
