@SunnJax This is exactly why all junctions should be *physically* constructed so that drivers have to make a right-angle turn, not a swerve, and will see all "obstacles" (people) before their vehicle

New paper from the Zerial Lab!

My colleagues and I have shown that apical projections across the bile canaliculi are load-bearing structures. These structures contribute to sustaining the anisotropic #growth of the nascent tube under increased intraluminal #pressure during #liver #development. These structures are supported by adherens #junctions and sealed by tight junctions.
