Flock Safety & Texas Sheriff Claimed License Plate Search Was For A Missing Person. It Was An Abortion Investigation.
New documents and court records obtained by EFF show that Texas deputies queried Flock Safetyβs surveillance data in an abortion investigation, contradicting the narrative promoted by the comβ¦
#JohnsonCounty, the same county where, in May of this year, a cop searched national #Flock camera networks encompassing 83,345 Flock automatic license plate readers (#ALPR) to track down a woman because she allegedly self-administered an #abortion [3].

The sheriff said the woman self-administered the abortion and her family were concerned for her safety, so authorities searched through Flock cameras. Experts are still concerned that a cop in a state where abortion is illegal can search cameras in others where it's a human right.
This is the same county jail where almost all the #PrairielandDefendants are being held.
#JohnsonCounty, the same county where the sheriff, #AdamKing, was arrested & indicted on charges of abuse of office/official oppression by sexual harassment & 2 felony counts of retaliation against a witness, as of August 28 [2].
