Can Sim Racing ACTUALLY Prepare You For Real Racing?
I thought this was pretty interesting, and it's something I've wondered about for a while. Obviously sim racing won't give you the effects of g-forces but with everything else, and the amount of detail you can get in sims now, it's getting pretty close it seems.
It's cool that one of the cars in the latest GTA Online DLC has a livery with a nod to Jimmy Broadbent. 'Shed Meister'? Nice.

Ooh, there's a multiplayer mode on BeamNG.drive and it looks suitably chaotic. I'll have to try it out sometime soon.

I do love Jimmy Broadbent's sim racing stewards videos, as well as being quite funny I definitely learn from them as well. Also, they do pretty much highlight why I avoid online racing.
