Spoiler heavy discussion of stone junction by Jim dodge kind of rambling but whatever

"I’ve also come to understand that freedom resides in being equal to your needs, self-determinism requires self-reliance, and that the “self” is the worst idea of Western Civilization (or at least doesn’t excite my imagination as much as the pantheist notion of an extended, constellated identity, as suggested by genetics, ecology, and a kiss" - Jim Dodge
Found out last night #JimDodge release a new collection of poems. I had not googled him in a few months... and almost missed it.
I ordered one instantly,
They are limited to 400 copies and are only twenty dollars plus shipping So I would order if you're into his writing.

"It just ain't possible to explain some things. It's interesting to wonder on them and do some speculation, but the main thing is you have to accept it-take it for what it is, and get on with your growing." - #JimDodge

#JimDodge writes like he is making a list, but, it is the best list you will ever read.
The language is documenting events created in the imagination. Jim uses it in a way that does not draw attention to the language.
The events feel more accurate because of the amount of thought spent on imagining of them, not the documenting (writing) of them.
Randomly when something memorable or exceptional happens the description with more detail like watching a slow motion shot.
Last #Poem of the day.
This one was written about #JimDodge and how much his #Poetry means to me.
It is a #ProsePoem and I did a second draft two years after writing the original (been working on it for about an hour).

The stone
Of two great masters,
They say one died serenely,
A little smile on his face;
The other screaming his head off,
Terrified of death.
There are no conclusions to reach.
The stone falls
Till it hits the earth.

A #Poem from his collection rain on the river.
I dont own this but several of his #ChapBook's are distinctly anti-copyright and I feel more people need to know of and read his books.
